Two separate professional qualifications share the "CMA" abbreviation:

• CMA India: Cost and Management Accountant — awarded by The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI), headquartered in Kolkata, India. This is the qualification covered by this blog and the relevant credential for most Indian finance roles.
